At the age of 2 Kobe won Best of Winners at the 2005 ARC National Specialty defeating hundreds of class dogs and bitches . He then was awarded Select defeated only by the then AKC #1 Rottweiler over 100 Specials. He finished with all. point majors .
Shown sparingly, his type combined with powerful movement and strong work ethic earned Kobe many significant achievements. As a puppy, Kobe won Best in Sweepstakes at the 2003 RCC National (10 mos old), Best Puppy in Working Group (Specialty Judge E. Phillipine) and AOM at the 2004 RCC National at a the age of 17 mos). Among his BOBs in the US, he took BOB over Specials at 13 mos. from the classes with a group placement, defeating 170 dogs at Seattle KC.
