In limited showing, Burton was  AKC # 2 Breed and All Breed Rottweiler  (2008)  

He holds the distinction of being the #13 working dog in the United States (2008) and has produced multiple AKC & CKC  Best in Specialty and Best of Opposite Sex in Specialty , Best in Show, AKC Top Ten offspring in both conformation and performance venues.

He was also the #2 Rottweiler in Canada (2007) ---- despite having shown In Canada only two weekends that year--  winning both the National Specialty  and a Best in Show.   Insofar as we can determine Burton appears to be the only rottweiler ever to have won BOTH Best Puppy in National  Specialty then returned as an adult to win Best in  National Specialty. He is  an RCC Hall of Fame  member.

Burton was an Award of Merit recipient  at 2008 & 2009  Westminster Kennel Club  and 2007 Eukanuba 

He is one of very few Rottweilers in history who have won both multiple AKC & CKC Best in Show  and Best in Specialty awards . 

Burton came out of retirement in 2011 at almost 9 years of age to win BOTH  the ARC  NW Regional Specialty and the Mount Rainier Working Dog Club Specialty- from the Veterans Class!!! In doing so he defeated 250 working dogs  including many of the Top Twenty working dogs in the United States. He  continued on to attain his AKC Gr Ch in only a few weeks  thereafter and in so doing defeated so many Rottweilers that he was ranked in the 2009 Top 25 in breed for 2011 in the US (!) and in only one weekend in Canada - he defeated so many dogs -- a few weeks short of 9 years of age - that he ranked in the Top Ten  in Canada in 2011 as well!

After a remarkable career in conformation, Burton set his sights on the Rally Ring. At one of the largest venues in the  US,  the Rose City Cluster,  In January 2010 , he finished his Rally Novice  title with 3  consecutive  first place finishes , with 2 scores of 96 and one of 95, in so doing defeating 43 other entries .  Having finished his RN he then went on to similar results in RA and for his RE he again had 1st place finishes including with a score of 99!

 OFA Excellent Hips, Elbows Clear, OFA Cardiac clear ( Cardiologist) from both parents with all 4 clearances 

 Burton has from limited breedings attained  the designation of an American Rottweiler Club Silver Producer from limited breedings  based upon the achievements of his offspring.

Producer of   multiple  American  & Canadian  Champions , Best in Show, Best in Specialty Show and AKC Top 3 ranked conformation Rottweilers as well as many  AKC top ranked performance titled offspring and an ARC Silver Producer.  He also sired an ARC Nationals BOSSW

Perhaps his greatest contributions to the breed to date is  the preservation and development  of soundness in structure and temperament. some of those puppies are pictured below. -all of whom contributed to his coveted Silver producer Status
