Male Rottweiler. AKC Top Twenty Working Dog.
Burton is one of the select few Rottweilers to make the AKC Top Twenty Working Dog List. With limited showing he was the AKC # 2 Breed and All Breed Rottweiler. Burton won multiple AKC and CKC Best in Show wins, multiple AKC Specialty Shows in Florida, California (Golden State and NorCal), Colorado (Mile High RC), and Alaska. Burton is a Westminster and Eukanuba AOM and the sire of multiple BISS and BIS winners, Eukanuba BOB winners and performance titled dogs from very limited breedings. Not to be ignored, Burton's RN was attained with 3 1st place wins with only 4 days of training with Teresa Bradley of Neu-Rodes. Teresa also piloted Burton to his CD with 3 straight Q's and placements (including a 195.5 and 1st in Novice B), his RA and an RE, the latter with 3 placements, all 1st place wins. Given the number of dogs he defeated when undertaking his performance titles, Burton was ranked the #1 RN dog in the United States for the 1st quarter 2010.
Burton was a substantial dog with type, bone and deep true mahogany color. He was a fabulous working dog who excelled in all venues and whose temperament was perhaps his most significant asset. Not only were Burton's parents CHIC (all 4 passing) but was he, a number of his highly achieved littermates and a high percentage of his offspring.
At 10 months of age, Burton won Best Puppy in Specialty at the Canadian National Specialty (2003). At the 2004 ARC National, Burton was one of only a couple of males ( out of approximately 90 entries) between 6-9 months old to place in all three of the 2004 ARC Nationals Futurity, Sweepstakes and Regular classes. At 20 months of age Burton won BW at the prestgious Minnesota Northstar Specialty (5 pts) under John Connolly and then the following day repeated his BW picking up his second major! Burton finished his Am Ch with a 3rd major! Burton is OFA Excellent OFA Elbows Normal OFA Cardiac and CERF clear.

Burton according to the RCC records appears to be the only rottweiler in Canadian history to have won both BPISS and then BISS at the National Specialty(2007). His National BISS was over 100+ dogs and his BIS on that weekend in Canada was over the #1 dog in Canada just as his working group wins were over the Top working dog- Burton from very limited breedings has produced the 2006 ARC BOSSw winner, multiple BPIS, Specialty BW, Am & Can Chs ( including those finishing from the puppy or 12-18 classes) and Group winning get-3 of whom have been tested and passed all 4 OFA clearances.
